I recorded this record with trombonist Scott Whitfield's 12 piece Big Band in 2004. Scott worked for awhile with Nat Adderley in the 1990's. Scott and  I played a ton of gigs together in New York in the late nineties mostly with Toshiko Akiyoshi.          "Holland Tunnel"

I had the pleasure of being on this record in 1999. Randy Johnston is a super groovin' bebop guitar player. Also Nick Brignola, Jim Rotondi, Eric Alexander, Xavier Davis, P-Wash and K- Wash on this. Thanks to Rich Shemaria for getting me on this and for the great charts.

This band led by Dean Pratt and his brother is one of the swingingest big bands ever. I got to play on this  Ernie Wilkins arrangement.

Dean asked me to write a straight ahead chart that featured the bones for this album. Here it is.
